My name is Zoe Li (She/Her)! I am a passionate and dedicated student in the field of media and communications/digital cultures. With a strong background in both theory and practical application, I attempt to take a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and technical proficiency into every project I take on.

I'm most confident in academic research, digital marketing, and journalism. My goal is to produce captivating and influential content, infused with joy and passion in every project I undertake. With proficiency in multiple languages and a background in digital cultures, I strive to offer diverse perspectives and foster effective communication across all mediums.

First Class Honours Thesis (2024)

I recently completed my Honours year, receiving a HD grade. Combining my passions for activism, video games, and live streaming my Honours research investigated the intersection of Virtual YouTubers (VTubers) and feminism, focusing on aspects of empowerment and representation within online spaces. Ultimately, my research aimed to highlight the importance of technology in shaping contemporary understandings of identity and the potential for digital spaces to foster greater inclusivity and representation. I am in the midst of getting things published and conference-ready, so stay tuned!
